Kitty O’Sheas Irish Pub and Buffalo Bar, Lake Buena Vista, Florida

Recently, I decided to head to a local place here in the Orlando, Florida area, It’s called Kitty O’Sheas Irish Pub and Buffalo Bar. For anyone who visits the Orlando, Florida area in and around the Walt Disney World Resort area, this is where you will find Kitty O’Sheas.

Originally I am from Buffalo, New York. The restaurant/bar has that “hometown” feeling, like being back in Buffalo, New York. I have known for more than a few years that the owners are from the Buffalo, New York area. I originally heard of Kitty O’Sheas a few years ago and that they serve my favorite sandwiches, a Beef on Weck. What is a Beef on Weck you might ask. It’s simply explained as sliced roast beef served on a kimmelweck roll. Basically the roll is a Kaiser roll with salt and caraway seeds on it.

If you have ever been to Buffalo, New York, you may have heard or not that is where chicken wings were “started” at a place called Anchor Bar, so of course I had to try a sample of the chicken wings from Kitty O’Sheas. Delicious on the Beef on Weck and the chicken wings!

One last note to say is that for anyone who visits and happens to be a fan of the Buffalo Bills or the Buffalo Sabres teams there is some memorabilia about the bar that makes it feel like a “hometown” feeling. Even though this is Orlando, Florida, it is nice to have places to go that can bring back frond memories. And who can go wrong when it comes to food!

I know I am looking forward to going back fro another Beef on Weck and some chicken wings, especially after seeing these pictures again! Nom Nom!
